Kempen Cricket Club has been founded as a registered non-profit (VZW) in Geel — a new home for cricket across the whole Kempen. We're starting the way we mean to continue: juniors first, everyone welcome, and three free tryout sessions for anyone curious. Training runs at local indoor and outdoor facilities while we work toward Cricket Vlaanderen and BCF affiliation.
On 25 June 2026 we signed a partnership agreement with Thomas More, the university of applied sciences in Geel. Together we'll bring cricket to students — including a special membership arrangement — and give the club a lasting connection to young talent in the heart of the Kempen.
A young club runs on the people who show up for it. We're looking for Dutch-speaking volunteers who'd like to be trained as cricket coaches, local businesses to join Stad Geel as foundational partners, and supporters who simply want to see cricket grow here.
