None at all. Most people at our sessions are beginners. We'll show you the basics and put a bat in your hands early — you'll be playing, not just watching.

Absolutely — that's most of us. If you're curious, our plain-language Learn Cricket guide explains the whole game in a few minutes, and you can test yourself with Gully. But you don't need any of that to turn up and have a go.

No. We provide bats, balls and pads. Just bring comfortable sports kit, trainers and water. A jersey of your own is optional, later.

Juniors from age 6 through 16, and adults 17 and over. We started with juniors, but the club is open to all ages.

Yes. Juniors from age 6 are welcome. For anyone under 18, a parent or guardian completes the registration and signs on their behalf.

Yes. Cricket at KCC is open to everyone, of any gender. If you'd like to know about taster sessions, get in touch.

Adults €70 per season, juniors (16 and under) €50, and non-playing supporting members €25. One fee covers training, match selection, club equipment and federation affiliation.

Thomas More students (16+) and families of three or more from the same household have special arrangements — get in touch and we'll confirm your rate.

Often, yes. Most Belgian health funds (mutualiteit) reimburse part of a sports membership each year — bring us the form. If you receive OCMW support, they may help too.

Yes. If paying in one go is difficult, just ask and we'll arrange a personal payment plan. No one should miss out on cricket for financial reasons.

You can resign at any time, but membership fees already paid aren't refunded — that's why we offer three free tryout sessions first, so you can be sure before you join.

We train in and around Geel, at local indoor and outdoor facilities. Current session times are shared when you register — book a tryout and we'll send you the details.

We're based in Geel and welcome players from across the Kempen — Mol, Balen, Westerlo, Olen, Kasterlee, Herentals, Laakdal, Meerhout and Tessenderlo among them.

A friendly mix. Sessions run in a welcoming blend of Dutch and English, and we're actively growing our Dutch-speaking coaching. Cricket's own vocabulary stays in English everywhere.

We're in conversation with Cricket Vlaanderen and the Belgian Cricket Federation about affiliation. We'll say so plainly the moment it's official — until then, it's "working toward."

Insurance cover during club activities is being arranged through Cricket Vlaanderen affiliation. Until that's confirmed, participation is at your own risk — we'll update this the moment it's in place.

We only collect what we need to run membership and federation registration, and never sell or share it beyond Cricket Vlaanderen / BCF for affiliation. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data anytime via contact@kempencricket.be.
